Stairways Software releases Keyboard Maestro 6.3

Perth, Western Australia - 12 November 2013 - Stairways Software Pty Ltd is pleased to announce Keyboard Maestro 6.3, the new version of its powerful productivity enhancer for Mac OS X.

Version 6.3 enhances the Typed String trigger, with options to support regular expression matching, ignoring diacriticals, matching only after a word break, simulating the deletes before showing a conflict palette, and other tweaks.

This version adds a number of useful tokens, including a new %ActionResult% token to describe the success or failure of actions and new %Trigger%, %TriggerBase%, %TriggerValue% tokens describe the trigger that invoked the macro.

Also new is a Substrings In collection, as well as enhancements to the Lines In collections.

This version adds a bunch of options to the keyboardmaestro: URL to allow controlling the editor from other applications, such as selecting or searching for macros or actions. The gethotkeys AppleScript command also adds a getall option to allow enumerating all currently active macros for integration into other launchers.

Version 6.3 resolves a number of minor bugs, as well as resolving issues with the Volume and Brightness control actions (especially under Mavericks) and reducing the apparent Energy Impact.

Plus a bunch of other minor improvements.
