Perth, Western Australia - 1 February 2007 - Stairways Software Pty Ltd today announced the acquisition of Stairways Software's flagship program, Interarchy, by Nolobe Pty Ltd. In what amounts to an employee buyout, lead developer Matthew Drayton has formed Nolobe Pty Ltd and acquired all rights to Interarchy, the award winning file transfer and web maintenance client.
Matthew Drayton has been leading the development of Interarchy for some years now, so customers can expect the same level of quality software development and innovative features as Nolobe continues to develop and enhance Interarchy going forward. Nolobe will honour all existing licenses, and expects to release a new free upgrade (8.5) soon before continuing work on the next major release (9.0) due out later this year.
In compliance with our privacy policy, customer records have been transferred to Nolobe, and users will be able to look up their old serial numbers (for versions going back to version 4) as well as download any current or previous versions from the web site (there may be a short transitional period over the next week or two so please bear with us if any of the transition is not perfect immediately). Any customer wishing to remove or adjust their customer database record may do so on the Nolobe web site.
In general, users should not see any immediate change and can expect Interarchy to continue to lead the way in Internet clients. Price and availability remain the same. If customers have any questions or concerns, please check the web site at <http://nolobe.com/> or by email to support@nolobe.com.
Interarchy was engineered by Stairways Software Pty Ltd and is now engineered by Nolobe Pty Ltd and distributed by Kagi. Interarchy is licensed on a per workstation basis (individuals can choose to license it on a per user basis).
